Dear Potential Foundation Member,
We are pleased to announce that a charitable trust has been formed in the memory of Andrew Paul Sanchez. It is named the Andy Paul Sanchez Foundation, called the APS Foundation, and is dedicated to the principles by which Andy Sanchez lived. Andy believed in giving students a second chance. Andy was a firm believer in the power of sports in education. Andy believed in using school athletic programs to improve self confidence, school participation, and graduation rates. Andy believed in giving all students access to a quality education. Like its namesake, the APS Foundation will help young students and athletes achieve success in the classroom and on the playing field.
Through fund raising activities, the APS Foundation will continue the legacy of Andy Sanchez by supporting and promoting youth athletic programs, providing educational and athletic scholarships, and promoting scholastic achievement in the San Diego area. The APS Foundation will continue to address one of Andy Sanchez’s primary goals – assisting students and keeping them in school.
The APS Foundation needs your support. By donating today you help the APS Foundation achieve its initial funding goal of $100,000. Your donation will help San Diego students while preserving Andy’s memory and passion for education and athletics. Your support will keep the “light of Academics and Athleticism” for students shining and perpetually lit. Please consider becoming a Founding member.
